Brief Bio
Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat (Fellow of IEEE and Fellow of SCS) is an internationally well-known academic/researcher/scientist. He received his Ph.D. and M. S. degrees in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Obaidat is currently the Chair and Full Professor of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University, NY, USA. He has received extensive research funding and has published Forty Six (46) books and over Six Hundreds and Eighty (680) refereed technical articles in scholarly international journals and proceedings of international conferences, and currently working on three more books. Mohammad is the Editor-in-Chief of the Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems, the FTRA Journal of Convergence and the KSIP Journal of Information Processing. He is also an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications. He is now an editor of the Wiley Security and Communication Networks Journal, Journal of Networks, International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and Convergence, IJITCC, Inderscience. Prof. Obaidat is an associate editor/editorial board member of seven other refereed scholarly journals. He has guest edited numerous special issues of scholarly journals. Brief Bio
Pascal Lorenz (lorenz@ieee.org) received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks.He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences. He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Te chnical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009) and Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010). He has served as Co-Program Chair of IEEE WCNC'2012 and ICC'2004, tutorial chair of VTC'2013 Spring and WCNC'2010, track chair of PIMRC'2012, symposium Co-Chair at Globecom 2011-2007 and ICC 2010-2008. He has served as Co-Guest Editor for special issues of IEEE Communications Magazine, Networks Magazine, Wireless Communications Magazine, Telecommunications Systems and LNCS. He is senior member of the IEEE, IARIA fellow and member of many international program committees. Brief Bio
Pierangela Samarati is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy. Her main research interests are on data and applications security and privacy, especially in emerging scenarios. She has participated in several projects involving different aspects of information protection. On these topics, she has published more than 280 peer-reviewed articles in international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters.  She has been Computer Scientist at SRI, CA (USA) and visiting researcher at Stanford University, CA (USA), and at George Mason University, VA (USA) .  She is the chair of the IEEE Systems Council Technical Committee on Security and Privacy in Complex Information Systems (TCSPCIS), of the ERCIM Security and TrustManagement Working Group (STM), and of the ACM Workshop on Privacy in the Electronic Society (WPES). She is ACM Distinguished Scientist (named 2009) and IEEE Fellow (named 2012).She has received the ESORICS Outstanding Research Award (2018), the IEEE Computer Society Technical Achievement Award (2016), the IFIP WG 11.3 Outstanding Research Contributions Award (2012), and the IFIP TC11 Kristian Beckman Award (2008).http://www.di.unimi.it/samarati/ ...
